Israel, Brazil sign agreement to fight terror, organized crime together

Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ernesto Araújo and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan signed an agreement between Brazil and Israel saying both countries will fight crime and terror together, Maariv reported.
The agreement means that a representative of Israeli police will be serving in Sao Paulo as of August.
The Police officer will oversee cooperation with Brazilian police in the mutual fight against money laundering, drug trafficking and crime, Head of the Unit for International Relations in the Ministry of Public Security Natan Rotenberg told the Jerusalem Post.   
The signing event took place in Jerusalem as part of the visit of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in Israel.
