Israel's entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2017 named

Israel's song for the 62nd annual Eurovision Song Contest has been chosen. "I Feel Alive," written by Dolev Ram and Ben Hazut, will make its Eurovision debut on May 11 at the second night of semifinals in Kiev.
Imri Ziv will perform the song after winning the fourth season of  HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion ("The Next Star for Eurovision"). The 25-year-old singer from Hod HaSharon, who also participated in the first season of The Voice Israel, won 78% of the public's votes on the show's finale, earning him the honor of representing Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
"I Feel Alive" will premiere on March 9th during a special Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) broadcast.
Israel's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was "Made of Stars," written by Doron Medalie and performed by Hovi Star. The song ended up in 14th place with 135 points.
