A Jerusalem resident, in his forties, was indicted for arson on Friday after he was arrested last week in suspicion of setting fire to the Jerusalem Municipality building.
Jerusalem police acted quickly and arrested the man while he was still in the area of the building.
A police investigation revealed that the man had recieved a fine for 475 NIS earlier in the day, which was most likely the motive behind the arson.
