Knesset gears up to form committee to debate immunity request

Blue and White reported on Wednesday that MK Avi Nissenkorn is to meet Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein and the Knesset legal advisor to discuss the creation of a Knesset committee to process the request for immunity submitted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.The Knesset is currently dispersed, meaning that such a committee can not be formed. For that to happen, an official instruction by Edelstein is required.French President Macron will travel to Lebanon on January 17
