LA's largest ever wildfire continues to burn on Sunday, with over a thousand firefighters now battling the blaze.
Hundreds of people have been forced out of their homes as the so-called La Tuna fire rages at the northern edge of the city.
Officials say the fire that began on Friday now covers nearly 5,900 acres and it's still gaining ground in some areas. The evacuation zone has now been widened to include the Glendale and Sunland-Tujunga neighborhoods.
Firefighters battled through the night as the fire tore through thick brush in the hills around Los Angeles that officials say hasn't burned in decades.
Three homes have been destroyed but so far there are no casualties.
