Former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said on his Facebook page on Saturday that the Israeli government "begs Egypt to calm the situation [in Gaza], to open Rafah crossing and quietly promises that next week 15 million USD [from Qatar] will be handed over."
"[PM] Benjamin Netanyahu and the cabinet do not realize that just as a breach [in security] invites the thieve so does [showing] weakness brings us closer to the next confrontation [with Hamas]," he said.
