Mayor of central Israeli city questioned on sexual harassment complaint

The mayor of a major city in central Israel was questioned by police on Monday following a sexual harassment complaint issued against him by a former employee.The mayor was taken for investigation at the headquarters of the LAHAV 433 unit in Lod, which handles serious crimes and investigations against public figures.The complaint involves a case against the same mayor from several years ago, which the mayor has repeatedly denied.
