Meretz chair Zehava Gal-On released a statement on Sunday expressing 'shock over the horrific terrorist attack in Otniel this evening.' Dafna Meir, a 39-year-old mother of six, was stabbed to death in her home in the southern West Bank settlement on Sunday afternoon. The assailant, believed to be a Palestinian who worked nearby, fled the scene immediately afterwards. 'My heart goes out to the family of the victim, Dafna Meir, who was attacked in her home by a cruel, heartless terrorist while her children were nearby,' Gal-On said. 'Every effort must be made to locate the perpetrator and to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.'
