Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday said 'he hoped' the White House would stand by Israel and not help establish a Palestinian state at the United Nations during an interview with Channel 2 aired following the end of the Sabbath. Asked by Channel 2 if US President Barack Obama had promised Netanyahu not to help establish a Palestinian state unilaterally without Israel's cooperation during his last months in office, the Prime Minister said: 'If your asking did he speak to me about this, the answer is no.' 'I am hoping that he won't do this, the answer is yes,' he added.
