ROME - One person was killed and six people were injured when a bomb exploded near a school in Brindisi in southern Italy on Saturday, an official at the Civil Protection Authority said.He said it was unclear if one or two devices had exploded in the incident but said: "Given the effect of the explosion, it appears that this was something quite powerful."No further details were immediately available.
