PM: Intelligence officials clarifying whether Istanbul bomber targeted Israelis

Amid reports that the suicide bomber in Saturday's deadly attack in Istanbul had followed a group of Israeli tourist victims, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that Israeli intelligence officials were still working to determine whether the attack was purposely aimed at citizens of the Jewish state.
In his remarks at a Likud faction meeting, Netanyahu said it remained unclear whether the suicide bomber who killed three Israelis and an Iranian had specifically targeted the Israelis.
"The Israeli government takes care of Israelis who are in danger, whether in Nepal or Turkey or any other place," he stated.
The premier also saluted the IDF and Magen David Adom for their work to return to Israel its citizens who were wounded in the bombing that wounded 36 people in a central shopping district.
