Police arrest second left-wing activist as part of ongoing investigation

Judea and Samaria District police on Tuesday evening arrested a second left-wing activist as part of an investigation that saw a prominent left-wing activist arrested last week.A gag order has been placed on the investigation, but the activist arrested last week is believed to be suspected of contact with a foreign agent – a security crime – due to alleged dealings with the PA’s Preventative Security Service.The activist arrested last Monday was prevented from meeting a lawyer for four days, and his identity remains banned from publication.
