A 69-year-old Jerusalem man was arrested Sunday after police found over 100 kilos of marijuana, with a street value of over NIS 3 million, in his home and growing on his property.According to Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, the unidentified Jewish suspect from a moshav in the capital cultivated over 500 plants on his roof and yard, which he later sold.“Police received intelligence and tracked the individual for several weeks, and when there was concrete evidence, we arrested the suspect,” said Rosenfeld. “Altogether, we’re talking about a street value of NIS 3 million, which is obviously significant.”Rosenfeld added that family members of the suspect, who has been remanded for five days by a Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court judge, are being questioned to determine if they were also involved.
