One week after an Egyptian intelligence delegation visited the Gaza Strip and Israel, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported from a Hamas source that negotiations on a prisoner exchange deal between the parties has been suspended due to disagreements. Progress between Israel and Hamas had recently been made, however, the report also said.
