Report: Palestinian shot in face at W. Bank protest

An IDF soldier shot a 15-year-old Palestinian teenager in the face with a rubber bullet during Friday's weekly demonstration at the Palestinian village of Nabi Salih in the West Bank, activists said.
"Border Police officers shot a rubber-coated bullet at 15 year-old Ezz Tamimi's face from a distance of about 20 meters," a statement from the Palestinian group the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee.
According to the statement, the group managed to reach a contested well in the area "for the first time in months."
Activists demonstrate weekly near the Palestinian village protesting the confiscation of land by the nearby Jewish settlement of Halamish. The rallies oftentimes result in clashes with IDF soldiers.
Palestinians claim that nearby settlers illegally took control of nearby springs, preventing Palestinians from accessing the water sources.
