Rivlin expresses confidence in new Polish amabassador to Israel

President Reuven Rivlin expressed confidence in Polands newly-appointed Ambassador to Israel Marek Magierowski, saying that he will be instrumental in diluting the disputes that exist between Poland and Israel over Holocaust memory.Magjerowski was among five new ambassadors who presented credentials on Thursday. He was previously deputy foreign minister and deeply involved in government decision making.Rivlin, in alluding to Holocaust related legislation, said that politics should not be allowed to change the facts of history. Rivlin and Magjerowski agreed that, despite their differences, cooperation between Israel and Poland on all levels is excellent.
