Incumbent Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who ran unsuccessfully for the Republican presidential nomination earlier this year, was declared the winner and re-elected to a second term on Tuesday. 'Of course I want to thank the people of this extraordinary state for giving me another opportunity to continue to serve them,' Rubio said.
