Chemi Peres, the son of former president Shimon Peres addressed the press outside of Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer where his father was hospitalized after suffering a stroke earlier on Tuesday night, saying that his father had undergone a 'difficult event.' He thanked the hospital staff and Peres' supporters for their wishes. 'My father is a special individual, I am remaining optimistic. Everyone is praying, please continue praying. We are hoping for the best,' he said.
