A 64-year-old man suspected of murder who was imprisoned at the Nitzan jail in Ramle died from COVID at the Shamir Medical Center in Tzrifin, the Israel Prison Service announced on Monday morning.
The man, a resident of Jerusalem, was hospitalized a week and a half ago in the COVID ICU and died during the night between Sunday and Monday.
This was the man's third arrest.
