Treasury: We'll go to court to end doctors sanctions

The state said on Monday that it plans on turning to the courts in order to bring an end to the sanctions imposed by doctors as part of a labor dispute running for over a month. Finance Ministry wages chief Ilan Levin said that the ministry is preparing a legal action in the Labor Court.
"The positions declared by the doctors are already beyond proportionality," he said. "If in the coming days the doctors don't don't back down from their demands, we will be forced in the following days to turn to the Labor Court." The ministry, he added, is waiting for an official report from the Health Ministry detailing the damage caused by the sanctions before making its decision whether to turn the dispute into a court case.
