A man and a woman were arrested by Israel Police for storing two firearms and ammunition in residential buildings in Jaffa and Holon in the Tel Aviv District, Ynet reported on Thursday afternoon.
Police suspect the guns were meant to be used in criminal activity.
According to Ynet, the male suspect, a 30-year-old resident of Tel Aviv, is in police custody and is expected to face a bail hearing later on Thursday.
The other suspect has been placed in house arrest.
