Two houses were evacuated Wednesday night after a grove caught fire near several houses around 40 Shoshana Street in the city of Mevaseret near Jerusalem, Segurim reported. Firefighters were deployed from Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem, according to the report. Authorities were preparing to evacuate another row of houses in the neighborhood.
The blaze was brought under control by early Thursday morning and residents were allowed to return to their homes, Walla! reported.
