US strikes Islamic State forces in Iraq

US Air Force fighter plans shelled a number of Islamic State vehicles that were on the way to attack Kurdish forces, Israel's Channel 2 reported.

American officials said earlier that they are arming Kurdish soldiers in order to help them fight the Islamic State.
