A shoe was thrown at former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by a woman in the audience during a speech Clinton gave at a Las Vegas convention on Thursday, reported the Las Vegas Sun. Clinton ducked as the projectile flew past her and joked, 'Good thing she didn't play softball like I did,' according to the Sun. The woman was later taken into custody. Clinton is expected to be Democratic front-runner for the 2016 presidential nomination, though she has not officially announced her candidacy.
