Limmud FSU EuropeThe first-ever Limmud FSU Europe was announced at a cocktail reception in London to take place in Feb. 3-5, 2017.Present at the cocktail reception in London included speeches from Ambassador of Israel to the UK Mark Regev and Matthew Bronfman, entrepreneur, philanthropist and chairman of Limmud FSU’s international steering committee.The upcoming continental gathering, also called “Limmud in London for the Russian-Speaking Jews of Europe,” will mark the first time in its decade-long history that Limmud FSU will not be geared toward Russian-speaking Jews of a specific city or country. Limmud FSU Europe will be aimed at the 300,000 Russian- speaking Jews across Central and Western Europe.4. Isrotel Phaza MorganaLast weekend, the Isrotel Phaza Morgana 2016 music festival began, including performances at Timna Park. On Shabbat morning, Isrotel CEO Lior Raviv hosted the traditional annual brunch at the Agamim Hotel. There were tables of elegant gourmet food around the pool prepared by chef Yossi Shetreet, who joined Ya’arot Hacarmel chef Amir Chalfon.Musician Gil Shochat played Chopin on a poolside piano.
