Kyiv Jewish Forum 2024

The 5th annual Kyiv Jewish Forum is set to convene today in the nation's capital, cohosted and organized by the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine (JCU) and The Jerusalem Post.

The prestigious event will unite top international figures to discuss the most critical challenges facing Jewish communities worldwide.

"In the five years that KJF has been held, this will be the second forum during the Russia-Ukraine war and the first one since the Hamas attack on Israel," said Boris Lozhkin, President of the JCU. "Speakers and guests of the forum will try to find answers to the questions of how to counter the modern axis of evil formed by Russia, Iran, and North Korea. They will also be looking for answers, how to eliminate the threat of antisemitism growth around the world and how to keep the unity of the Jewish diaspora. The role of the US in addressing all these issues is crucial."

The impressive lineup of speakers includes renowned Holocaust scholar Deborah Lipstadt, Ukrainian Ambassador to the US Oksana Markarova, Israeli diplomat Michael Brodsky, former US Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst, Congressman Ted Deutch, European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism Katharina von Schnurbein, French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy, and former Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky.

The Kyiv Jewish Forum has become a leading platform for addressing global Jewry's most pressing concerns. This year's event will no doubt provide critical insights and strategies for navigating the complex geopolitical landscape, combating rising anti-Semitism, and strengthening the bonds between the United States, Ukraine, and Israel.

The 5th Kyiv Jewish Forum will take place today, November 14, 2024, in Washington, DC. It will be available for viewing live at www.jpostconferences.com/jcu-2024.
