This chant was adapted from a regularly sung mantra by Chelsea fans against their English rival team in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur, a club associated with a Jewish following. Morata, previously a striker for Real Madrid, signed a 70 million euro deal with Chelsea for the 2017-2018 soccer season that started nearly a month ago, marked his third goal for the British team on Saturday."Morata, woaa Morata, he came from Real Madrid, he hates the F*cking YID" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHELSEA FANS! LOL!

Chelsea spokesman Steve Atkins condemned the antisemitic song in a press conference after the game saying that Morata “does not want to be connected to that song in any way, and both the player and the club request that the supporters stop singing that song with immediate effect." Morata took to Twitter after the game to express his gratitude for the support of his fans, and to request that they “please respect everyone!”⚡️ In case you missed it all yesterday... https://t.co/os6e5vd8jb
