Two Israelis were arrested Wednesday in Jordan, Channel 2 reported on Thursday.The Foreign Ministry confirmed the arrests, however the circumstances of the arrest remained unclear.The Foreign Ministry stated that "the incident is known to us, and the Israeli embassy in Jordan is handling the situation. The Israelis are believe to have legal representation."According to Israeli media reports the two Israelis were in house arrest at a hotel in Amman.Army Radio reported that the Israelis were found carrying tens of thousands of dollars and were investigated on suspicion of money laundering.They claimed that they intended to exchange the money for Iraqi dinars for investment purposes.
