Netanyahu tweets new Purim video, Gantz and Lapid dress up as Bibi

In the clip, which he shared on Twitter, Netanyahu rings the doorbell and walks into a Purim party. The host, dressed like an astronaut, thinks that Netanyahu is one of his rivals: Blue and White Party Chairman Benny Gantz or his counterpart Yair Lapid.

“You are definitely going to win the costume competition,” the host tells Netanyahu, who is trying desperately to convince the astronaut that he is the real deal. 

“Wait,” says the host, “let me figure out if you are Gantz or Lapid. Say, ‘There’s no more Right or Left.’”

Netanyahu responds, “Of course there is: I’m Right, they’re Left.”

“Wait,” says the host again, “maybe you are Yair. Say, ‘I don’t know anything about the economy.”

“I know the most about the economy,” Netanyahu answers. “Our country has never been in a better economic situation.”

This goes on until the doorbell rings again and a friend tells the host that Gantz and Lapid have arrived. They are, in fact, dressed like Netanyahu.

Then, the prime minister turns to the camera, “It is time to take off our costumes and tell the truth: They are a weak Left, we are a strong Right.

“We have brought Israel to a better place than it has ever been,” he continues. “We need to go forward and not backward. We need to go forward with Likud.”
