Terror attack against Israeli businessman thwarted in Peru - report
According to the Peruvian National Police's (PNP) post, the suspect in question is 56 year old Majid Azizi, who has Peruvian citizenship and has been living there since 1997.
A suspect was arrested who is allegedly associated with the Quds Force, the foreign arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and was planning on killing an Israeli businessman in Peru, Peruvian police announced on a Friday post on X.

Canada says it will resume funding to UNRWA
Canada will resume funding to the UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA), International Aid Minister Ahmed Hussen said in a statement on Friday, but did not give a timeline.
Ottawa had announced a pause on Jan 26 after Israel alleged some of the staff at the agency had been involved in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks.

Over 134 hostages remain in Gaza after being taken by Hamas terrorists on October 7. The IDF had previously announced that 33 of the remaining 134 had been killed in captivity.
Families of Gaza hostages received signs of life from over a dozen of their loved ones taken in Hamas captivity, Channel 12 reported on Friday evening.
Channel 12 said that the IDF censor prevented further details from being published at this stage.

Turkish authorities have arrested six people and charged them with spying for Israel's Mossad intelligence service, Turkey's intelligence agency (MIT) said on Friday.
On Tuesday, MIT had said police detained seven people, including a private detective, for selling information to Mossad. It said on Friday that six of them had been arrested, and one had been released on bail.

The US military carried out its fourth airdrop of aid into Gaza on Friday, a US official told Reuters, amid an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in the crowded coastal enclave.
