In a video aired by Al Jazeera TV, Abu Ubaida praised Iran's attack on Israel on April 13, saying the direct strikes with explosive drones and missiles "set new rules, drew important equations, and confused the enemy and those behind it."

Satterfield: Hamas's humanitarian policy? it has none
US Special Envoy David Satterfield asserted Hamas's responsibility for the suffering in Gaza, attributing it to their use of civilians as shields and rejection of peaceful solutions.
Hamas is fundamentally responsible for the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza, US Special Envoy David Satterfield told reporters on Tuesday, as he dismissed a question about Hamas's humanitarian policy compared to that of Israel.
"Hamas's humanitarian policy is the opposite of humanitarian. It is to use innocent civilians as shields, as presumed protection for their own facilities, for their own terrorist military forces," he said, as he appeared startled by the comparison.
“The fundamental actor responsible for the suffering here is a terrorist group — Hamas,” explained Satterfield, who is specifically tasked with humanitarian issues relating to Gaza.

New head of Military Intelligence must be highly experienced. Major General Fuchs may be suited to take over from Haliva in light of October 7.
Major General Yehuda Fuchs, who recently announced his retirement as Commander of the Central Command, is highly qualified to replace the outgoing Head of Military Intelligence, Major General Aharon Haliva. IDF sources revealed that Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi was not surprised by Haliva's resignation announcement on Monday, which was "agreed upon in a gentlemanly manner" to avoid a greater disruption.
Military and security sources indicated that this situation requires an experienced leader for Military Intelligence, not a young officer taking on their first role as Major General. This reference is likely aimed at Brigadier General Shlomi Binder, the current Head of Operations, who might have been involved in the events leading up to the October 7 attack and in the initial hours in Gaza following the attack.
