Putin accuses Israel of attempting ‘complete elimination' of Gazan civilians
“What is currently happening in Gaza in response to the terrorist attack on Israel does not resemble a war at all. It is akin to the complete elimination of the civilian population,” Putin claimed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed on Thursday that Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip ammounted to genocide, according to multiple media reports.

Igniting diplomatic tensions as the IDF advances continues to operate around Rafah, the symbolic recognition of a Palestinian state might just make the conflict in Gaza worse than it already is.
In a significant shift from most European countries' foreign policies, Spain, Norway, and Ireland have recently announced their decision to recognize the Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital. This move, considered by many a political statement due to its impracticality, is seen by Israel’s critics as a huge victory, while Israel’s supporters see it as yet another regrettable diplomatic decision as the IDF expands operations around Rafah.
Daniel Shadmy, the spokesperson of the European Leadership Network (ELNET) in Israel, an NGO fostering Israeli-European ties, explained to The Media Line that these three countries' decisions need to be contextualized in a larger perspective of Europe’s relations with Israel. “Israel’s relationship with Europe has been quite positive, especially since October 7, resulting in a high level of support of most countries that continues to this day.”
“In fact, while the US has been debating on withholding weapons meant for Israel,” Shadmy continued, “most European countries, led by Germany, continue to purchase Israeli defense technology to protect their own citizens in programs that cost billions of dollars.”

Democratic primary voters had the option of selecting “uncommitted” for the presidential race, right above a slogan that read “Justice for Palestine. Permanent Ceasefire Now.”
Thousands of New Jersey Democrats voiced their frustration Tuesday with President Joe Biden by voting “uncommitted” on their presidential primary ballot.
As of Wednesday afternoon, with about 90% of the vote counted, more than 41,000 voters registered a protest vote against Biden. The Uncommitted New Jersey group organizing the campaign to show frustration with Biden’s support for Israel had set a goal of 50,000 votes.
In most New Jersey counties, Democratic primary voters had the option of selecting “uncommitted” for the presidential race, right above a slogan that read “Justice for Palestine. Permanent Ceasefire Now.” Activists used a signature campaign to get the option on the ballot. In parts of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, where the signature effort failed, organizers asked voters to simply write in “uncommitted.”
