Hamas says ceasefire-hostage deal negotiations to continue, claims Israel tries to sabotage talks

Hamas official Izzat El-Reshiq accused Israel of trying to derail efforts by mediating countries Egypt and Qatar to reach an agreement by stepping up its attacks in the enclave.

Talks for a hostage and ceasefire deal have not been halted senior Hamas official Izzat El-Reshiq said on Sunday, dousing initial reports that Israel’s attempted assassination of Mohammed Deif had scuttled negotiations.

Yemen's Houthis conduct military operations in Gulf of Aden, Israel's Eilat

Houthi military spokesperson the latest operations came in response to the Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis on Saturday.

Yemen's Houthi terror organization said on Sunday they had conducted two military operations, one in the Gulf of Aden and one in Eilat at the southern tip of Israel.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the group had targeted the Israeli ship MSC UNIFIC in the Gulf of Aden with ballistic missiles and drones in addition to attacking military targets in Eilat with drones.

The IDF has quietly concluded larger reinvasions of both Shejaia and Gaza City.

It was unclear why the IDF did not publicly announce concluding operations in those areas as it had in most areas it was leaving up until this point of the war, but it could be a sign of various strategy shifts for “Stage 3” of the war to lower intensity conflict.
