Hamas rocket launched toward Israel misfires, slams into Gazan school in Nuseirat

The rocket fired by Hamas did not enter Israeli territory, but rather fell on a school in Nuseirat. The IDF also reported on continued operations throughout Gaza, including a return to Khan Yunis.

Hamas launched several projectiles from the area of Maghazi in central Gaza towards Israel, but the rockets did not cross into Israeli territory, with one slamming into a school in the area of Nuseirat, the IDF reported Tuesday.

Both Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have misfired rockets, with projectiles landing within the Gaza Strip.

The IDF has previously stated that one-fifth of the rockets fired by terror groups in the Gaza Strip land in Gaza, killing civilians.

Hamas, Fatah sign declaration to end divisions after China talks

Various Palestinian factions have agreed to end their divisions and strengthen Palestinian unity by signing the Beijing Declaration on Tuesday morning in China, according to Chinese state media.

The declaration was signed at the closing ceremony of a reconciliation dialog among the factions held in Beijing from July 21-23, state broadcaster CCTV said.

A total of 14 Palestinian factions, including the leaders of rival groups Fatah and Hamas, also met with the media, with China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi present, CGTN said in a social media post.

Rival factions Hamas and Fatah met in China in April to discuss reconciliation efforts to end their 17-year-old disputes.

Israeli forces eliminate Hamas commander, other terror leaders in Tulkarm, West Bank - report

Al Jazeera and Hamas-affiliated media Safa reported that three terrorists were killed in the operation.

IDF aircraft attacked armed terrorists while operating in the area of Tulkarm in the Menashe Brigade, the military reported on Tuesday. 

Al Jazeera and local Palestinian reports claimed that Ashraf Nafi, commander of the Izzadin al-Qassam brigades in Tulkarm, the military wing of Hamas, was killed. 

Palestinian media noted that both Hamas and Fatah operatives in the area were struck by the IDF.

The IDF recently announced the neutralization of terrorist Tahsin Al-Andis, a key funder of Gaza-based terrorist groups, and the killing of Syrian businessman Baraa Katerji, linked to Hezbollah and ISIS.

The IDF spokesperson announced on Saturday that two days prior, the terrorist Tahsin Al-Andis, who had transferred funds to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, including the military wing of Hamas, was neutralized. Additionally, on Friday, a building used by the company "Al-Khara," where Al-Andis worked, was surrounded by IDF forces.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Al-Khara has been a central infrastructure for storing and transferring funds for terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and for executing terrorist operations.

In a recent operation in the Gaza Strip, the Maglan raid unit, led by Captain G., eliminated several terrorists who were hiding behind a fridge underneath a residential building in Khan Yunis, the IDF reported on Monday.

In a recent operation to clear the southern area of the Khan Yunis, the forces were divided into two teams to search different floors of a targeted building. Once the soldiers arrived at a courtyard, they were suddenly attacked.

Turkey’s Foreign Affairs Ministry released a statement on Sunday condemning a social media post made by Foreign Minister Israel Katz, in which Katz presented Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan as a toddler on the lap of Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. 

Katz, in a Sunday post on X, wrote “Erdogan @RTErdogan finances and arms terrorist organizations of Hamas to carry out attacks and murder against Israelis. The General Security Service captured a squad of students from Bir Zeit who were employed by the Hamas headquarters in Turkey to carry out murder attacks in Israel, through training and weapons and tens of thousands of dollars provided to them.
