Opposition Leader Yair Lapid took to X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday morning to write that "there is no minister who is a complete failure and more miserable than Itamar Ben-Gvir.

"Since he took office, our streets have been flooded with murders, crime, and terror attacks," Lapid wrote. "The only thing he does is interviews, gimmicks, and provocations from morning to night."

One killed, three wounded in Holon stabbing terror attack

The murdered victim was a 70-year-old woman. Another 70-year-old male is in critical condition.

One person was killed, and three others were wounded on Sunday morning in a terrorist stabbing attack on Moshe Dayan Street in Holon, Israel's emergency medical service, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported.

A policeman who happened to be in the area shot and killed the terrorist.

The murdered victim was a 70-year-old woman. One 70-year-old male is in critical condition, a 68-year-old man is in serious condition, and a 26-year-old man is in moderate condition in the attack, according to the MDA. The paramedics took the three wounded to the Wolfson Medical Center.

Senior Israeli officials were informed that there had been no progress in hostage deal negotiations, Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported on Sunday morning.

According to KAN, one of the issues of contention between the two sides is the Israeli requirement that it remain in the Philadelphi Corridor in southern Gaza.

The Iranian attack on Israel in response to the assassination of Hamas political bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran last week is expected to come on Monday, three US and Israeli officials told Axios reporter Barak Ravid on Sunday.

Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of US Central Command, arrived in the Middle East early Sunday morning amid  Hezbollah and Iran's threats against Israel, Walla reported on Sunday, citing two senior US officials.

The aim of the visit, which was planned before the current escalation, is to prepare a coalition to counter such threats, the report added.
