Israeli strike on Beirut kills Hezbollah media relations chief, security sources say
An IAF strike on a densely populated district of Beirut on Sunday killed Hezbollah's media relations chief Mohammad Afif, two Lebanese security sources told Reuters on Sunday.
Army Radio reported that the strike targeted Hassan Nasrallah's home in Beirut's Dahiyeh neighborhood.
A failed assassination attempt was carried out on this house in 2006. Since then, the house has been rebuilt and has been used for Hezbollah terror infrastructure, according to Army Radio.

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF conducted intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah command centers and additional terrorist infrastructure in the Dahiyeh area, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut.
Hezbollah has systematically embedded its terrorist infrastructure amidst the Lebanese civilian population, cynically exploiting them as human shields.
Prior to the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the gathering of prior intelligence, leveraging aerial surveillance, and issuing advance warnings to the civilian population in the area.
IAF intercepts rockets from Lebanon, others fall in open areas
Following sirens which sounded between 10:11-10:12 Sunday morning in the Western Galilee region, the military detected approximately 20 rockets which crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon, the IDF announced.
The IAF successfully intercepted some projectiles, with others falling in open areas.

IDF announces fallen soldier St.-Sgt.-Maj. (res.) Idan Kenan, killed in Gaza Strip
Kenan, aged 21, was from Ramat Gan and served in the Nachshon Battalion 90 in the Kfir Brigade.
