An employee at the "Tari Ve'Helek 2" factory in Haifa was exposed to a hazardous material during its unloading, Fire and Rescue Services said on Monday.
The employee called the emergency services after feeling suffocated and having a burning sensation in his eyes.
Fire and rescue crews from the Zvulun station, along with a hazardous materials unit from the Haifa station, were dispatched to the factory.
Hazardous material contained, one person treated for light injuries
The first crews to arrive at the scene isolated the affected area inside the factory and moved employees away from the danger zone.
The responders then contained the material, and the site was monitored carefully to ensure there were no remaining hazards.
One person was slightly injured, and MDA treated them on site.
