Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, fifth on the People of Israel Party’s list, was attacked by Palestinians while touring the West Bank on Monday.

In footage seen by The Jerusalem Post, a stone was thrown through her car window while Nahoum was speaking to a camera about being surrounded and threatened by Palestinians.

One person was reportedly injured in the attack.

“This is the ‘innocent 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds,’” Hassan-Nahoum said while holding up the stone that was thrown through her car window in a video recorded shortly after the attack. “This kills. It’s not just throwing stones; this kills.”

The Israel Police said later on Monday that they are collecting evidence to locate the suspects.

“Thank God that she [Fleur] is with us,” said People of Israel Party leader Ofer Winter in a response video. “But I ask you, how long must Israeli citizens have to live in fear? For how long will we have to continue hearing about stone throwing, attacks, shootings, and terrorism?”

“Instead of decisive victory over the enemy, we conduct another mini-operation, another arrest, and make yet another promise?... Three years after October 7, it is time to change our mindset,” he continued. “You don’t understand it at all: it is time to defeat enemies, not brothers.”

Israel Ganz: Attack on Hassan-Nahoum 'real,' attack on Levine 'provocation'

Mateh Binyamin Regional Council Head Israel Ganz also responded to the attack, describing the perpetrators as “vile terrorists.”

“Just days after a provocation that managed to capture global attention, a real incident has occurred, yet it is being met with conspicuous silence.”

Ganz referred to the incident as “real,” comparing it to the attack on Friday against Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine by violent Israeli settlers, which he called a “provocation.”

“When the perpetrator is Jewish, the world is up in arms. When the victim is Jewish, or a supporter of Israel, the world loses its voice,” he said. “Anyone who condemns violence only when the perpetrator is Israeli, yet remains silent when Arabs attempt to commit murder, is complicit in the campaign against Israel.

“I call upon the security forces to apprehend these terrorists and bring them to full justice,” he continued. “We must not wait for fatalities before taking action.”

West Bank tensions rising amid Palestinian olive harvesting season

Tensions have been rising in the West Bank in recent weeks, with settler violence seeing an uptick during the olive harvesting season. Palestinian terror remains an even bigger issue, with several deadly attacks having been carried out in past months.

Israel’s security services arrested 10 suspects early Monday morning in connection with violent events that occurred over the weekend in the West Bank, including the attack on Levine.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was recently briefed on security measures in the West Bank by the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). He described the Tulkarm refugee camp as a “terrorist stronghold,” vowing that the IDF will remain in control of the area, promising to safeguard Israeli territory “from the Jordan River to the sea.”
