American musician and comedian Reggie Watts will be arriving in Israel for the first time this summer for a performance in Tel Aviv.Watts will take the stage for a musical comedic experience at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv on June 26. Watts is best known to American audiences as the bandleader and announcer of The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he works with Israeli native Hagar Ben-Ari, who plays bass in the band.Watts is also the host of the Comedy Central game show Taskmaster, and has released two Netflix comedy specials: Why $#!+ So Crazy? and Spatial. As a musician, he has released two solo singles, five albums with his band, Maktub, and has collaborated with singer Regina Spektor. The comedian’s live shows are always completely improvised, he says, combining singing, rapping, comedy, impressions, beat-boxing and more. The Evening Standard called Watts “an acquired taste well worth acquiring,” and The New York Times said his style is “formally adventurous, deliriously silly and aggressively improvisational.”Tickets for the show range in price from NIS 165-214 and will be on sale online at 2207.co.il.
