'Terrorists should know: Blood is on their heads'

Border Police Commander, Brigadier General Yitzhak Barak, praised the officers' quick action.

"Border Police officers identified a terrorist attempting to carry out a shooting attack on our forces, and in a swift, sharp, and professional response, exactly as expected of them, they executed precise fire and neutralized the terrorist," Barak said, adding that he stands in full support of their actions and is "proud of their determination, professionalism, and contact."

He added, "Every despicable terrorist seeking to harm Israeli citizens or security forces knows that their blood is on their head, and the long arm of the security forces will reach them and eliminate them."
