The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) killed Hamas Nukhba commander Sakr Abu Karim and an additional Hamas communications operative in the southern Gaza Strip, the two organizations announced in a Sunday joint statement.

According to the statement, Karim was among the leaders of Hamas's infiltration into the Kisufim area during the October 7 massacre, the two organizations announced in a Sunday joint statement.

Karim was killed in a precise strike in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

"Throughout the war, Karim advanced and executed attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip," the statement explained.

It added that recently, he had "violated the ceasefire agreement, maintained a large cache of weapons in his home, and took part in efforts to rebuild the organization and conduct terrorist training with the aim of advancing additional terror attacks."

IDF kill Hamas terror commander in southern Gaza Strip

Overnight on Saturday, the IDF killed an additional Hamas terror commander, Muhanad Othman Yassin Farwana, in southern Gaza.

 The IDF stated that Farwana had been involved in advancing several attack plans against both Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, and who also posed an immediate threat to IDF troops.

The IDF also stated that, prior to a precise aerial strike against Farwana, steps were taken to mitigate the potential harm to civilians in the area.

IDF, Shin Bet kill Hamas General Security Apparatus officials

On Thursday, the IDF announced that it, along with the Shin Bet, had killed several senior members of Hamas' General Security Apparatus in the Gaza Strip, a clandestine group which is responsible for protecting and assisting Hamas leadership.

The General Security Apparatus' responsibilities include maintaining communication and coordination between Hamas leaders, protecting them and escorting them to emergency facilities, and collecting intelligence and guiding the leadership in decision-making.

Among the terrorists killed in the IDF strikes was the Deputy Head of the General Security Apparatus, Hassan Rabah Hassan Labad, as well as the senior officials Asim Amin Shalash Shubair, Abdullah Ata Younes Abu Kaloub, and Muhammad Naaman Zaki Abu Mark.
