Just like millions of Jews around the world, many celebrities spent time this week celebrating Rosh Hashana with their families and friends. Israeli actress Gal Gadot posted a special message on Instagram on Sunday with her wishes for the new year. 'Happy Rosh Hashanah!' she wrote. 'May we always enjoy the simple things in life, be happy with what we have and respectful to each other. May we accept and appreciate those who are different and see the beauty in that.. And last year she also came home to celebrate Rosh Hashana with her local friends. But this year, amid her busy work schedule and filming for the Wonder Woman sequel, Gadot doesn't seem to have found time for a visit. Bar Refaeli was definitely in Israel for Rosh Hashana this year. The supermodel even took part in an event on Sunday afternoon for Holocaust survivors from around the country. Refaeli hosted the event held by the Association for the Immediate Help of Holocaust Survivors in Tel Aviv. 'May this year allow us to give more, to appreciate what we have and to be satisfied,' Refaeli wrote on Instagram alongside a photo from the event. 'Begin this year with giving, and I promise you that it's the most worthwhile thing there is.'
