The New York Times also identified Nseir as “a militant.”

The far-left IfNotNow organization included a rocket crew member in a list of Palestinian casualties whose deaths it said was “heartbreaking.”
On Saturday, the organization retweeted a tweet by Al Jazeera English producer Linah Alsaafin who listed Imad Mohammad Nseir as one of five Palestinians killed on Saturday, along with a pregnant Palestinian woman and her son, who the IDF says was killed by a faulty Hamas rocket.
Imad Mohammad Nseir, 22, was a member of a rocket launching unit of the Kataeb Humat al-Aqsa organization, a small, Islamist group active in Gaza.
“This is heartbreaking, and horrifying. Israel must stop murdering Palestinian civilians. We stand with Gaza tonight and always. #GazaUnderAttack,” wrote IfNotNow when it retweeted Alsaafin’s tweet.
Kataeb Humat al-Aqsa posted a video on YouTube where an armed member of the group read out Nseir’s will, while photos of Nseir’s funeral showed him wrapped in a funeral shroud emblazoned with the terrorist group’s emblem of two assault rifles flanking an image of the Dome of the Rock shrine.
The New York Times also identified Nseir as “a militant.”
The fifth Palestinian fatality on Alsaafin’s list, all of whom were described as civilians, was Khaled Abu Qaleeq, 25.
It is unclear whether or not Qaleeq was a member of a terrorist group, although the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry stated that he had been “targeted,” often a reference to the fact that the individual was a combatant.
The Times reported that Abu Qaleeq had been riding a motorbike at the time and that it appeared he had been deliberately targeted.
In response to a request for comment, an IfNotNow spokesperson said simply that “That air strike killed a 14 month old baby and a pregnant woman. Those are civilians.”

Also killed on Sunday in a targeted assassination was Hamas’ Iran liaison commander Hamed al-Khoudary, who owned Gaza City’s main money exchange. That business served as Iran’s unofficial headquarters in the coastal enclave, and transferred funds to terrorist groups in the Strip.
