There was a lull in the storm on Thursday when residents of Jerusalem woke up to see their city covered in a thin layer of white.

The recent storm that hit Israel brought rain and strong winds to the center of the country but the capital also saw a few centimeters of snow. Larger amounts of snow accumulated in the Golan Heights and in Safed.
