Netanyahu greets 1,600 lone soldiers from 70 countries
The errands day organized all of the essential civilian agencies needed by lone soldiers in one place, streamlining the effort and time required for soldiers to complete their errands.
By SARA RUBENSTEINUpdated: JANUARY 24, 2019 12:53Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the Nefesh B’Nefesh and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) 6th annual “Yom Siddurim” (personal errands day) for IDF Lone Soldiers in Tel Aviv on Thursday morning.Netanyahu greeted more than 1,600 lone soldiers from 70 different countries at the event, which was organized with the IDF's human resources department.The lone soldiers all benefited from various resources provided during the event, including essential civilian agencies needed by lone soldiers, streamlining the effort and time required for soldiers to complete their errands.The event was held in cooperation with the Aliyah and Integration Ministry, Interior Ministry, The Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, Jewish National Fund-USA and with the assistance of Yahad – United for Israel’s Soldiers.
