Official: Arabs responsible for high death rate on Israeli roads
On Monday four people were killed in a car accident Monday near Karmiel in northern Israel, according to an Magen David Adom spokesperson.

After the fatal car accident that killed four people in northern Israel Monday, the head of the Israel National Road Safety Authority said that Arab drivers in Israel are the cause of the high rate of road deaths in the country.Giora Rom said to Army Radio Tuesday that "it is time to stop talking about infrastructure. There is no infrastructure problem.""The problem here is wild driving that hikes up the high percentage of casualties in the Arab sector," he said, adding that "they are 20% of the population in Israel but accounted for a third of road deaths in 2016 and half of all deaths since the new year."On Monday four people were killed in a car accident Monday near Karmiel in northern Israel, according to an Magen David Adom spokesperson.Another four were reported to be in serious condition.The accident involved a private vehicle and a commercial shuttle.Shmulik Avraham, Director of Emergency and Security Protocols at United Hatzalah reported from the scene that "When I arrived at the scene I saw a motor vehicle accident involving two large vehicles, one of which was a mini-bus. Three of the people in one of the cars were pronounced dead at the scene."
