Regev dismisses Bennett and Shaked's New Right as 'reality show'

Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev dismissed the new members who have joined Education Minister Naftali Bennet and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked's New Right Party."Bennett and Shaked's reality show has been launched!!!" Regev wrote on Facebook Wednesday. "The novelty: In this season the Mizrahi will not be ousted as happened last season with Eli Ohana, because it hits the ratings of the 'New Right,'" she wrote.Former Israeli footballer and current chairman of Beitar Jerusalem was placed in the tenth slot in the Bayit Yehudi party by Bennett ahead of the 2015 elections. After three days of harsh criticism from party members, Ohana withdrew at Bennett's request.On Tuesday, Bennett and Shaked announced a new addition to the New Right, activist for disabled people's rights Shirly Pinto. Earlier this month, longtime Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick joined the party's list for April 9 elections."And now seriously friends," Regev continued on her post.
