Regev allegedly helped Gantz sexual misconduct accuser go to the media
Minister Miri Regev’s bureau was involved in the publication of the indecent exposure allegations against Blue and White Party leader Benny Gantz, something he calls politically motivated.

A spokesperson for the Culture and Sport Ministry revealed that its head, Miri Regev, knew about a plan to publish allegations of sexual misconduct against Blue and White Party chairman Benny Gantz.Navarone "Nava" Jacobs claimed Gantz exposed himself to her at an Israeli boarding school when the two were teenagers. The allegations were made public by Israel's Channel 13. Jacobs also published a post detailing the allegations on her personal Facebook page.Regev’s bureau confirmed that they helped Jacobs reach Israeli media outlets to publish her story. However, they denied any personal contact with her."Another blood libel from the Netanyahu-Regev house,” said Blue and White in a statement.Regev is a member of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party which is polling closely ahead of Gantz's Blue and White Party.Gantz denied the allegations, calling them political libel.“A blatant lie," the party added, saying the claims were "baseless slander about Benny and his days at Hakfar Hayarok in the 1970s. The political incitement has reached a new low. We are pursuing legal action.”Speaking to The Jerusalem Post in an exclusive interview from New York, Jacobs said that she went to the school’s barnyard “to visit the cows,” where she witnessed Gantz, who pulled down his pants. Although she says Gantz never touched her, she felt “in danger." At the time, Jacobs was 14 years old and Gantz was 17.
