Snow began to fall on Israel's Mount Hermon Thursday morning as temperatures fell to 0°."We expect that the snow will reach the upper heights of Mount Hermon in the afternoon and may reach the lower levels, where the temperature is now 1°, next week," said the Mount Hermon Ski Resort's spokesperson.The Hermon is currently closed to visitors due to the coronavirus lockdown, and has not received permission to open as some other parks have, according to the spokesperson.The Mount Hermon Ski Resort's staff is currently on unpaid leave.Days after the first snow of the winter, in November, emergency medical teams were forced to rescue dozens of people as heavy rain caused flooding and power outages nationwide.
