PM: We face greater threats than ever before, but we can defend ourselves

Israel faces greater threats than it has ever faced in the past, but it is strong and able to defend itself, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Sunday at the opening session of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors in Jerusalem.
He added that while the country was prepared to make painful concessions for peace, it would make no such compromises on its security.
